Bolton Not Letting Go Of Top Scorer Dapo Afolayan

0

Bolton Wanderers want to keep hold of their best talents and have opened a new contract talks with top scorer Dapo Afolayan, Megasportsarena.com reports.

Afolayan has been one of the leading lights of the club and it is reasoned  that losing him will leave a gaping hole in the squad.

Club manager Ian Evatt says Bolton Wanderers will not be ‘rushed or forced into’ their transfer business this summer as he admits some targets may require more than others to get done.

Evatt has reiterated any interested parties will need ‘deep pockets’ to prise Wanderers’ top assets away from them and there is no pressure at the University of Bolton Stadium to sell either of the duo.

The former West Ham man, who took home the top prize following an impressive season, finishing as the Whites’ top-scorer with 14 goals in all competitions, looks not to be in a hurry to leave the club.

“It’s always something that I pride myself on and I try to have a good relationship with the fans and I appreciate what they do for me,” he said.

“I’m a football fan myself and I know how much it means to fans and for me to be an inspiration, I just want to repay that faith and go out there and give it my all.”
