FC1. Union Berlin of Germany new signing, Taiwo Awoniyi has confessed that he finally feels ‘truly at home,’ following the full contract he signed this week with the German Bundesliga club, where he enthused that he is sure to have a fantastic time.
Megasportsarena.com reports that the deal puts an end to his romance with Liverpool of England, but Awoniyi is nonplused, as he says he is glad to get over several years of loan deals from The Reds and believes he can now settle down to prove his true quality.
He is back to where he made his best marks so far as a professional and, now hat his second spell is set to begin in Berlin, the product of Imperial Football Academy of Odogbolu in Ogun State aims to hit the ground running.

Awoniyi, who began training with his teammates in Tirol on Tuesday and will wear jersey number 14 during the season, believes he will create an even bigger impact in his second spell with the Berlin-based side, after spending time on loan with the capital outfit last term.
The 23-year-old, who has recorded 33 appearances for two clubs in the Bundesliga, with six goals and three assists, added that he will utilize the experience he gained during loan spells as a player of Liverpool at FSV Frankfurt, NEC Nijmegen, Royal Excel Mouscron (twice), KAA Gent and FSV Mainz 05.
Awoniyi told the club’s website:”After lots of loan moves in previous years, I want to finally come and have a home. I owe so much to Union.
“It makes me happy and proud to be back here. It’s fantastic to continue on the great path with the club. I will give everything to quickly pick up where I was before my injury.”
