IFK Goteborg of Sweden midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf has declared emphatically that his only ambition and target for now is to help the Scandinavian side in the very best way he can, rather than think of joining another club, megasportsarena.com reports.
Although recent reports have linked him with a possible megabucks deal in the summer, the former Akwa United of Uyo battler stressed that he is now thinking anything about the said long number of clubs that are interested in signing him from the Swedish giants.
The 20-year-old Alhassan, who joined Goteborg in the summer of 2018 on a contract that will run out in the winter of 2022, has already been linked with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Sheffield United of England as well as clubs in Belgium and Denmark, but he insists his loyalty remain with Goteborg.
Allhassan, who has made a total of 64 matches for Goteborg, told Expressen.“My goal is always to help the team in every way I can. If the team wins, it will be good for me too.
“There have been some clubs that have been interested. If I am going to move, it should be something that is really good for me and IFK Gotenborg. But now I am here and my focus is that we will be a top team this year.”
