Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia attacker,Ahmed Musa had the last laugh on Super Eagles’ colleague, John Ugochukwu Ogu (Suker), as the Nigerian captain was on the winning side when their clubs clash in the FA Cup, megasportsarena.com reports.
Ogu went straight into the starting line-up in his first game since signing last week for lowly-rated Al Adalah, but he could not save them from losing 1-0 at home to Musa’s team in the quarter-final of the Saudi King Cup.
While Ogu was on for 90 minutes of Friday’s encounter, Musa got off Al-Nassr’s bench in the 90th minute of the game, for his fourth appearance in the Saudi King Cup this season, with two goals to show so far in the competition that his team are gunning to win for the seventh time.
The first half ended barren, before Al Nassr hit the game’s only goal in the 51st minute through Moroccan ace, Abderrazak Hamdallah, leaving Ogu empty-handed in his first competitive game since 25 May 2019, when he last played for his former club, Hapoel Be’er Sheva of Israel.
