Tammy Abraham looks ahead to Roma’s Europa Conference League final against Feyenoord, underlining how the team ‘want to finish the job’.

Megasportsarena.com reports the Giallorossi will face off against their Dutch opposition on Wednesday May 25 at the Arena Kombëtare in Albania. Winning that game would cap off a perfect debut season for the 24-year-old English striker, who has netted 26 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions this season.

Speaking to Roma’s media outlets, Abraham first discussed his emotions ahead of the Conference League final.

“For me a final is a final, whether it’s a Champions League, World Cup or Conference League final and I want to win it. My teammates want to win it, all of Rome.

“For us it’s important, we want to prepare ourselves in the best way mentally and physically. This has been a long difficult season, we have to be ready.”

He reflected on his debut season in Serie A.

“It has been a fantastic season. When I arrived here my goal was to help the team, I wanted to get to the final, to win some trophies. We are on the right path, we are in the final and we have made history. Now we want to finish the job to close this perfect circle.”

The 24-year-old commented on how much winning the final means to the fans.

“The fans make you realise that every day. For such an important club with this history, the trophy cabinet should boast many more trophies, with these fans, for the players who have worn this shirt. To be here and to have the chance to play a final with Roma you can only imagine what it means.”

Finally, Abraham discussed the possibility of scoring a goal against Feyenoord in the final.

“Scoring in the final would be a dream, especially if we then win the cup. I’ve been dreaming of moments like that since I was a child. For me winning is enough.”

The 24-year-old Abraham broke a Serie A record this season with his goal tally of 17, becoming the most prolific Englishman across a single season in Italy, breaking the previous record of 16 held by former Inter and Torino forward Gerry Hitchens.
