SSC Napoli of Italy striker, Victor Osimhen and his very close pal, Samuel Chukwueze, who plays for Villarreal of Spain, were at the weekend entangled in a jocular exchange of banter on social media, megasportsarena.com reports.
It occurred after Osimhen hit home his ninth and tenth goals since joining Napoli from Lille Metropole of France, and his fellow-Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup-winning star was one of many Super Eaglesโ players that reacted to his celebrations on social media.
Osimhen was truly excited after his first-half brace helped Napoli enact a 4-1 trouncing of Spezia on Saturday and saw him reach double figures in goals for the second consecutive season for a club in the top-five European leagues.
The Chile 2015 highest goals scorer, who had initially been cast in doubt for the fixture against Spezia, due to a clash of heads he suffered the previous weekend, after scoring against Cagliari, also provided the assist for Napoli’s fourth goal of the game 11 minutes from time.
He gleefully took to social media to celebrate his feat, while also acknowledging the battling efforts of his teammates in the encounter that saw the Naples-based side move up to second spot on the Italian Serie A table.
Osimhen posted after the game: “Solid performance from the whole squad๐ฏall focus on Tuesday๐ช๐ฝ @officialsscnapoli;โ thereby drawing reactions from his national team pals, Alex Iwobi, Kenneth Omeruo, Nnamdi Oduamadi and Samuel Chukwueze.
Chukwueze joked about his palโs cute hairstyle, which looks like a plaster, as he wrote: “Come no vex oh na plasta you carry for head ๐ Beast ๐ฅ๐โค๏ธ” and Osimhen responded thus: “@chukwuezesamuel8 Omo na plasta o๐๐๐๐as I know dey hear word๐๐๐๐โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ.“
