Lille Metropole of France striker, Victor Osimhen has admitted he is facing a tough dilemma in making a choice between a club in the English Premier League or Spanish LaLIga, if he is to move on the summer transfer window, megasportsarena.com reports.
With frenetic interest coming his way from five clubs in England and four in Spain, as well as another four in the Italian Serie A, Osimhen confessed that he is thorn between moving to Queensland or The Land of The Armada.
Although Lille’s top shots have restated over recent months that they have no intention of selling the Chile 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup top scorer, as they intend to keep him for at least another season, transfer interest keeps popping up for Osimhen from across Europe.
At the last count, the Super Eagles’ rookie, who had previously played for VfL Wolfsburg of Germany and Sporting Charleroi of Belgium was drawing attention from Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur of England as well as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Sevilla and Valencia of Spain.
Although Osimhen went on to declare that his dream club had always been Barcelona, not Real Madrid as initially thought, he admits holding a soft spot for playing in the EPL, but the 18 goal lad at Lille says he equally admires La Liga, hence the current dilemma of choice he is facing.
Osimhen told Nigeria Info FM: “Every footballer dreams of playing in the Premier League because it is the highest in football. For now I don’t really know which one to choose between La Liga and EPL. To play in one of the biggest clubs in the world has been my dream also, of course I am open to playing in EPL or La Liga. After the pandemic we’ll see and I will decide my future.”
