Former Super Eagles’ winger, Victor Moses has missed out on the proposed deal at Emmanuel Emenike’s former club, Spartak Moscow of Russia, megasportsarena.com reports.
Though already declared surplus to requirements at Chelsea of England and failed to get an extension with Inter Milan of Italy, Moses will now have to turn his attention elsewhere for a deal this season.
The odds are now daunting against the former Crystal Palace and Wigan Athletic of England crafty winger, as he had put so much hope on moving to Russia, but that has fallen flat, following a shock decision by Spartak Moscow to pull out of talks.
The report by Football.london adds: “Moses has less than a week to complete his Chelsea loan exit, with delays over his medical stalling the former Wigan Athletic man’s move to Spartak Moscow.
“The former Nigerian international ended last season on loan at Inter Milan, but Antonio Conte’s side opted against taking up an option to make the deal permanent. This opened the door for Spartak, but the deal has been held up despite the player verbally agreeing terms over a move.
“However, the report suggests the delay is unlikely to put the move in any real jeopardy, with the Russian transfer window open until October 17.”
