Brentford B defender Val Adedokun has been named in the Republic of Ireland’s Under-19 squad ahead of a training camp in Marbella, Spain.
The youngster, who earned his first call-up during last month’s international break, will once again join up with his fellow Ireland teammates as they head to the south of Spain for training as well as two fixtures against Sweden Under-19s.
With qualifying matches to come in November for the group, the training camp will give Tom Mohan the chance to work with his side to make sure they’re ready to go when they return to competitive action.
The matches with Sweden will take place on Friday 8 October before playing against them once again Monday 11 October.
Val has been in action with Brentford B in recent weeks, earning his first start in their 3-1 win over Queens Park Rangers last month. He arrived at the Club from Irish side Dundalk after coming through the ranks at Oriel Park.
