Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham has labeled Nigerian youthful hip-hop star, David Adeleke (aka Davido) as a ‘Young King,’ following his first meeting with the musician, who went on to reveal that he is a fan of The Blues.
Megasportsarena.com reports that Abraham took time out with fellow-Nigerian-born Chelsea star, Fikayo Tomori to meet Davido and exchange snap shots, after which he went public to reveal how excited he was with the moment they had together in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Meeting Davido alongside Abraham and Tomori was Aston Villa’s Nigerian-born youngster, Ezri Konsa, with all three players joining the music ace and another star, Hushpuppi during the hangout in Dubai, where Chelsea have gone for warm-weather camping in the first ever winter break in the English Premier League.
Heading into the break, Abraham is Chelsea’s leading scorer, with 15 goals this season, while Tomori is now a regular in the squad and has played 14 matches for the west London club since returning from a loan spell with Derby County in the English Championship.
While Abraham, Tomori and Konsa are enjoying the winter break, Davido was in UAE to attend the wedding of his older brother, Adewale Adeleke, and they were all happy with the rare opportunity to blend music with football, while also preserving the moment for posterity by taking photographs together, which they then shared on social media.
The Chelsea players flew out to Dubai after their 2-2 draw with Leicester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, and will make the best use of the camp to relax and recharge themselves ahead of resumption of action in the EPL, when they confront Odion Jude Ighalo’s Manchester United on February 17 … but it is frolicking for them all the way for now.
Abraham posted: “Young Kings,” Davido added: “No.1 Chelsea Fan,” and Gidifeednews added through their verified handle @gidifeedtv: “Chelsea Players, Tammy Abraham , Fikayo Tomori and Aston Villa, Ezri Konsa hangout with Hushpuppi and Davido in Dubai @Gidi_Traffic.”
