Crotone of Italy striker, Simeon Toachukwu Nwnkwo (Simy) has received a massive forecast of a 10m euro deal that will take him away from the club and save him from going down to the second division with them, megasportsarena.com reports.
The forecast out of The Land of The Azzurri also indicates that ‘Simy’ is set to play his last match for Crotone this weekend, as he should be on his way in the summer, rather than return to Serie B with the relegated side.
The report adds that Simy will play his last official match for Crotone against Fiorentina in the Serie A on Saturday, as he is sure to take up an offer from one of two clubs in the top-flight, one newly promoted side and another in the English Championship hat are now reportedly angling for his signature.
The report adds that Simy, who became the second African player to score 20 goals in a single Serie A season, after Samuel Eto’o in 2010/11, when the Nigerian ace netted against Benevento, is already considering offers from a couple of Italian top-flight clubs.
However, while the initial link for his signature came from SS Lazio and Sampdoria, Sky Sport Italia adds that newly-promoted Salernitana are also interested in the new all-time Nigerian top scorer in the Serie A.
An English Championship club are also said to be in the race for the 29-year-old giant striker, whose price tag has been set at between eight and ten million euro, which transfer market experts believe would have been higher if not for the lull in European football values due to the coronavirus pandemic.
