Arsenal of England youth team player, Ryan Alebiosu has committed himself to a short-term stay at Emirates Stadium, running across the next two years, following confirmation of his first professional contract with The Gunners, megasportsarena.com reports.
This comes 17 days after the 18-year-old winger-cum-right-back ended speculation about his future by agreeing to sign the deal; as he has now put pen to paper to a two-year contract, with Arsenal holding an option to extend by a further two years.
It is another step forward for the youngster, who was born in Islington and played in the same Arsenal age group squad with now high-flying fellow-Nigerian-born winger-cum-left-back, Bukayo Saka, before the England under-19 international was promoted to The Gunners’ main team.
Alebiosu, who is expected to start the upcoming season with Arsenal’s under-23 squad, has played 21 outings for the London club in the U18 English Premier League with a total of 1,064 minutes under his boots, across the FA Youth Cup, U18 Premier League Cup, Premier League 2 and Premier League International Cup.
