Slavia Prague of Czech Republic striker, Peter Olayinka has turned his attention fully on how to beat Viktoria Plzen in this year’s FA Cup final on May 20, megasportsarena.com reports.
Called the MOL Cup, Olayinka and his colleagues got the advantage to gun for the trophy after a 3-0 rout of their capital city rivals, Sparta Prague at Generali Arena on Wednesday evening.
Olayinka returned to fitness just in time to be part of the midweek action with the current Czech Republic champions and he made his mark for the second game running, after missing out since the start of March.
During his spell on the sidelines, Olayinka missed eight games played by Slavia and he played through the pain barrier in the UEFA Europa League matches versus Glasgow Rangers of Scotland and Arsenal of England.
Wednesday, which was Olayinka’s 36th appearance in all competitions this term, turned out to be a breath of fresh air for the former KAA Gent of Belgium attacker, as the first half ended with Slavia two goals in front thanks to efforts from Jan Kuchta and Tomas Holes.
Seven minutes behind the restart Kuchta scored his second of the game and secured Slavia a three-goal lead, following which Olayinka replaced Liberia international Oscar Dorley three minutes after Slavia scored their third goal.
