PSV Eindhoven of Netherlands midfielder, Chinonso ‘Noni’ Madueke has gained pole position among options available for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, as his previous stint in the club is hanging in his favour.
Megasportsarena.com gathered that, while Tottenham are reportedly considering another youngster, Mikkel Damsgaard from Sampdoria of Italy, as another option on their wishlist, the odds are now tilting towards Madueke.
The report out of London indicates that Spurs are already close to securing a deal for Christian Romero from Atalanta of Italy, after agreeing on a fee with the Italian Serie A outfit, hence their attention has now turned to the duo of Damsgaard and Madueke.
The report by Evening Standard adds: “While both signings are unlikely, Spurs do want to sign a creative midfielder of that ilk.
“Damsgaard has a value of close to €50 million, with Italian club Sampdoria determined to cash in on their prized asset.
“England U21 star Madueke, who came through the youth rank at Spurs, may be seen as a more affordable alternative.”
