A delegation of Liberia’s national team players and officials is expected to fly into Lagos on Tuesday, ahead of their opening Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Eagles, megasportsarena.com reports.
Heading into the trip, coach of The Lone Star, Peter James Butler has named 22 players for his side’s outings away in Lagos this Friday and at home versus Central Africa Republic four days later.
Among the players Nigeria’s Eagles will have to be wary of are Slavia Prague’s Murphy Dorley , Ayouba Kosiah from NAC Breda of Netherlands, Spain-based goalkeeper, Ashley Williams as well as Terrence Tisdell , Justin Salmon and Allen Njie.
They will arrive in Lagos on Tuesday for the World Cup qualification opening encounter that is billed to hold at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
