Bournemouth of England have given their Nigerian-born winger, Jordon Ibe a notice of transfer, following his inability to tie down a regular spot in the squad’s main team, megasportsarena.com reports.
Ibe arrived on a high from a handful of promising performances with Liverpool, but the youngster has failed to hit the ground running with The Cherries, who are now said to be keen on letting him go.
The report out of Queensland indicates categorically that Bournemouth are willing to listen to offers for Ibe, as the 23-year-old winger has been able to hit only two goals in 74 English Premier League games
The Cherries are not happy with the player’s output since he joined from Liverpool for £15m in the summer of 2016, and they now want to cash in on him this summer.
The Mirror reports that one possible destination for Ibe is Leicester City, as it was The Foxes’ current manager, Brendan Rodgers who gave the Cupid-faced lad his Liverpool debut few years ago.
It is reckoned that Rodgers would readily move for Ibe, if the Nigerian-born lad is available for a cut price fee.
