Northampton of England midfielder, James Olayinka s heading back to his parent club, Arsenal, following a season of playing on loan in the third tier division, megasportsarena.com reports.
The talented teenager, who has played at Arsenal since he was aged seven and got his Premier League 2 debut at the start of the 2018/19 season at just 17, joined the League Two club till end of the season in January, but he has appeared in just one competitive game for The Cobblers.
After starring in a 3-0 victory at home to Scunthorpe United in the league, an injury he copped on his debut curtailed him from earning further appearances, such that the recent cancellation of the season due to coronavirus means his stay at Northampton is over.
A report by allnigeriasoccer.copm added that Olayinka is now expected to be back at Emirates Stadium, but the youngster could be farmed out again on loan for next season, as he continues to gain valuable senior playing experiences.
