Watford of England striker, Isaac Success has found interesting transfer talking swirling round him in the last hours of the January window, with the injury-prone Nigerian star said to be under the radar of RSC Anderlecht of Belgium, Celtic of Scotland as well as two former English Premier League sides, Cardiff City and Huddersfield Town.
Megasportsarena.com can report that it is left to be seen which of three suitors will move formally for Success before the transfer window closes at midnight on Friday, otherwise his ongoing links with Celtic, Anderlecht, Cardiff and Huddersfield would only end as mere speculation round the out-of-favour Watford star.
The latest of all four links is coming from Huddersfield, with Isaac said to have caught the eye while featuring in a game for Watford’s under-23 side on Monday, during which the former BJ Foundation of Benin City, Udinese of Italy and Granada of Spain hitman gave a five-star display that increased interest in him from other clubs.
Interestingly, Huddersfield are also said to be only one of three English Championship clubs that are targeting a late move for Success, who has seen his first team opportunities limited with The Hornets, due to a long chain of injuries dating back to last season.
He remains out of favour, even after returning to full fitness, but was able to go the distance in action with The Hornets’ under-23 squad, which he helped to thrash Colchester United 4-1 in the Professional Development League on Monday.
Interestingly, the report out of Queensland stated further that talks have already taken place between Success’ minders and Huddersfield, after which The Terriers’ top brass are reportedly hoping to get a loan offer for him accepted by Watford before the close of the transfer window.
That would turn out to be neat coup for Huddersfield, ahead of Anderlecht and Celtic, as well as Cardiff, who are chasing a promotion play-off spot, and could jolly well fancy having the their UAE 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup gold medalist in their squad for the second half of the season.
Aside the strong looking link with Huddersfield, Success also has keen attention coming his way from Anderlecht, who are also willing to take him on loan for the remainder of the season, but they must remember that he was Watford’s most expensive player when he joined the Vicarage Road club from Granada in July 2016 for a fee of £12.7m, but an additional report by Watford Observer noted that the Belgian side and Celtic have both enquired about the 24-year-old star.
The report by Watford Observer stated in part: “Yesterday it was revealed that both Anderlecht and Cardiff City were interested in the striker, but now the Terriers have also expressed an interest in taking him on loan for the rest of the season.
“The Nigerian has been made available for a temporary move by the Hornets and featured in an Under 23 game on Monday at the request of Nigel Pearson to increase interest. Talks between the two clubs are continuing, but a deal is not believed to have been agreed as of yet.”
