Bournemouth of England striker, Arnaut Danjuma has stated delight with his recent burst of goals scoring form for his club in the English Championship, megasportsarena.com reports.
After netting another beauty in England’s second-tier league, as he helped his side beat Norwich City 3-1, the former Club Brugge of Belgium striker put it all down to unity among all players at The Cherries.
Danjuma was reeling with a relish on Saturday, as he continued his fine run of goals in the English Championship after he scored one of the goals for Bournemouth to edge past Norwich, as he hit home his 14th goal of the season.
Danjuma found target in the 57th minute for Bournemouth to turn the game around after going behind in the first two minutes and The Cherries have now pushed to fifth on the table with 74 points from 42 matches.
The Nigerian-born lad ended up getting another man-of-the-match award but the mulatto, who also provided an assist in the game, credited self-belief for his team’s recent fine run and ability to get full points away to the Championship’s top team, Norwich.
Danjuma told Bournemouth TV: “Norwich are a top team, they are on top of the league and back in the Premier League. They are a good side, it was a good match to test ourselves and we did well.
“Yes, we have won six games in a row, the secret I think is self-belief by individual players, belief in teammates, belief in the trainers and everyone involved in the team.
“First 20 minutes they dominated the game, we came to the match with a mission for three points. We equalised in the second half and that gave us more confidence.”
