Another Nigerian-born youngster has joined the youth ranks at Liverpool of England, as reports out of Merseyside indicate that The Red have signed Chidera Maduako ahead of next season, megasportsarena.com reports.
Details of the report revealed further that Maduako makes the move to Anfield from JNS Football Project, who have transferred several of their budding players to a litany of English Premier League clubs this month.
Maduako was all smiles during the signing and posed with a Liverpool shirt, as he aims to take after Victor Moses, Taiwo Awoniyi and Sheyi Ojo as the next Nigerian to seek success at Liverpool, even as he grows through the ranks and hopes to cement his place in the senior team in the course of time.
The media crew at JNS Football is now celebrating the latest deal, as Maduako’s transfer has been completed and the youth football project wished him success for the future, while also backing him to develop in the next few seasons.
JNS Football stated on social media: “Big shout out to our U8 baller Chedhera on signing his first academy forms with @liverpoolfc. A huge congratulations to Chedhera and his family on your achievement. The hard work starts now.”
