Fernebahce of Turkey midfielder, Bright Osayi-Samuel has gained massive relevance at the Turkish Super Lig club, as he has become a regular in their recent matches, megasportsarena.com reports.
In contrast with how he struggled for a place in the main squad during his debut season with The Yellow Canaries, the former Queens Park Rangers winger has now missed only starting spots this season.
He is now a regular feature in Fernebahce coach, Vítor Pereira’s team roster, with the gaffer handing him starting roles in ten out of 12 games across all competitions.
Osayi-Samuel’s new found relevance has seen him soar up to ninth in the ranking of the club’s most valuable players and 48th in the Super Lig.
The former England youth international also ranks 28th among Nigerian players and 11th in the class of right-sided midfielders globally, thereby fetching him his highest market value ever.
Information provided by Transfermarkt also revealed that Osayi-Samuel, who has a contract running with Fenerbahce until the end of the 2024/25 season, is now valued at 4.2 million euro.
This is much higher than when he joined Fenerbahce on January 28, 2021, as he was worth 3.5m euro but The Yellow Canaries paid QPR only 508,000 euro for the dashing forward, who was born in Nigeria but has a British passport.
