Villarreal forward Arnaut Danjuma is already looking to leave Villarreal with Liverpool a likely destination and it has been claimed that should an offer worth £34m come in then Danjuma would leave the Spanish club.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with Danjuma in recent weeks.
It’s being reported in Spain that Arnaut Danjuma ‘will do everything’ to seal Villarreal exit as cut-price chance emerges and will reportedly try his best to engineer a transfer away from Villarreal this summer, with Liverpool monitoring him closely, Megasportsarena.com understands.
16 goals in a 34-appearance debut season this term have seen him emerge on the European radar.
Liverpool have namely had links with a move for him. In fact, Danjuma recently revealed transfer interest from Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Danjuma also admitted in that recent interview that he would “have to consider” an opportunity to play on a “higher platform”.
And despite Danjuma having five years left on his Villarreal contract, the only issue is the fee for him. Previous reports have claimed that he has a €45million (£38million) release clause in his terms.
It remains unclear if Villarreal would stick to the release clause or whether they would consider the slim discount.
Liverpool could well do with a Sadio Mane replacement and a Danjuma deal may be perfect for the Reds.
Mane is reportedly ready for a new challenge this summer, with Bayern Munich the frontrunners to sign him.
Bayern supposedly reckon £25million will do the trick for the Senegal international. Liverpool, though, want closer to £42.5million.
