Anthony Nwakaeme scored Trabzonspor’s solitary goal in their 3-1 away loss to Istanbul Basaksehir in Sunday’s Turkish Superlig game.
Megasportsarena.com reports that the Nigeria international Nwakaeme has now scored 13 goals in the Turkish elite division and 15 in all competitions this season.
Istanbul Basaksehir grabbed all three goals in the first half with Stefano Chuka Okaka opening the floodgates in the 11th minute, Alexandru Epureanu doubled the advantage in the 31st minute and Serdar Gurler sealed it on 42 minutes.
Trabzonspor pulled a goal back in the 59th minute through Nwakaeme who has now scored in three consecutive games.
