Chelsea youth team player, Faustino Anjorin has made The Blues’ latest squad roster for the remainder of the 2019-2020 season, along with fellow-Nigerian-born pair of Jordan Aina and Tariq Uwakwe, who had initially been tipped with a transfer out on loan, megasportsarena.com gathered.
With Uwakwe now staying put at Stamford Bridge, he joins AS Torino of Italy star, Ola Aina’s younger brother and fellow-full back, Jordan, and midfielders Anjorin in the squd list, while their fourth compatriot, Ike Ugbo is spending the whole of the season on loan at Roda JC of Holland.
While Ugbo is ineligible to be fielded for Premier League matches despite his inclusion, Aina, Anjorin and Uwakwe are U21 players and scholars, but there is no place for goalkeepers Kelechi Chibueze and Prince Adegoke; defenders Derrick Abu and Ashley Akpan.
Chibueze, Adegoke, Abu and Akpan have been omitted because they are schoolboys who primarily represent Chelsea U16 team.
