PAOK Salonika of Greece midfielder, Anderson Esiti has come out with some steep conditions that must be met before he agrees to join John Mikel Obi’s former club, Tianjin Teda of China from his Greek Super League club, megasportsarena.com reports
Among the conditions Esiti put before his agents is that he will only accept the deal from China if the offer comes with fatter pay and offer him a better salary than what he is currently earning at PAOK, where he was an unused substitute in the team’s opening game of the new season, which they won 1-0 at home against Larissa.
Although that appeared to diminish his value and apparently showed signs of the former Super Eagles’ invitee being out of favout at PAOK, Esiti is still holding out for better trappings should he make the move to China, even as Teda are said to have already contacted his present club with a formal bid of five million Euro.
This is the second time the 26-year-old defensive midfielder would make a crucial decision on his career, as the battler, who had previously played in Portugal, joined PAOK in spite of what looked like a promising offer by KAA Gent of Belgium ahead of the 2019/20 season, but he has yet to fully establish himself in Greece.
Nonetheless, Esiti, who has three caps in friendly matches with the Super Eagles, is still holding out for a better bargain in terms of financial trappings should he accept the escape route offered him by Tianjin Teda, as he believes moving to China should be all about the money that is put on the table and what he stands to gain on the value level from playing in The Oriental Nation.
