Al-Nassr of Saudi Arabia attacker, Ahmed Musa has sent a deeply encouraging, motivational and heartwarming message to all his fans, Nigerians in general and all people across the world on how to overcome the current debilitating and mentally challenging conditions of self-isolation and social distancing, megasportsarena.com gathered.
Musa stated as much on arrival back in Nigeria, as he went straight into quarantine after getting off the private plan that brought him and fellow-Saudi Arabia-based star, John Ugochukwu Ogu home, and the Super Eagles’ captain stressed that staying safe in these trying times is essential.
The former Kano Pillars, VV Van Venlo of Holland, CSKA Moscow of Russia and Leicester City of England fleet-footed attacker, who got a special permit from the Saudi government for him to return home, following suspension of league action due to the coronavirus pandemic, confirmed that he is now self-isolating at home in Abuja.
The 27-year-old Jos-born star, whose mother hails from Auchi in Edo State, helped his side up to second on the Saudi Super League table after 22 games because COVID-19 put everything on hold, following which he has now declared that he will observe 14 days in self-isolation at home, in line with current health guidelines for anyone returning from another country.
He took to social media with a video post to confirm his arrival back home and to further exhort and educate Nigerians on the essence of maintaining all social distancing regulations, in order for them to stay safe and help in the target of curbing the spread of coronavirus.
Musa posted: “Good day everyone, my name is Ahmed Musa, Super Eagles captain. I support the effort of the Federal Government, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and FIFA for the fight against COVID-19. Please let’s obey the rules by staying at home, washing your hands regularly and avoid crowded places. Stay safe Pls. Am in 14days quarantine, but home is home 🏠.”
