Villarreal midfielder Arnaut Danjuma has rejected an offer from West Ham United.
He wants to stay in Spain to consolidate an impressive 2021-22 campaign and regain form and fitness after a muscular injury ended his campaign in April.
Danjuma was a key man for Villarreal last season as Unai Emery’s side finished fourth in LaLiga.
He scored six goals in the club’s historic Champions League campaign which saw them reach the semi-finals before losing to Liverpool.
Newcastle, Manchester United and Liverpool were among the clubs interested in Danjuma with West Ham leading the chase, but they have all now been set back with the Dutchman opting to stay in Spain.
