Fernebahce of Turkey will be without the services of Victor Moses next season, after the former Super Eagles star confirmed at the weekend that he is moving on to greener pastures this summer, megasportsarena.com gathered.
In spite of having a tremendous revival campaign on loan from Chelsea of England, even scoring in the last match of the Turkish Super Lig season last weekend, Moses says he is leaving this month, with speculations now rising that he is thinking seriously about joining Inter Milan of Italy.
With former Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte, who gave Moses a lifeline during their days together at Stamford Bridge, now said to be on the way to taking over at Inter Milan of Italy, speculation is rife that the star has decided to ditch Fernebahce in order to get a lift in Serie A.
Conte is expected to be confirmed as The Nerazzurri’s manager latest Tuesday, and is believed to have Moses high on his wish list, sequel to the star’s amazing breakthrough playing under the Italian gaffer as a right-wing-back in Chelsea’s title-winning surge of 2017.
Moses flourished under Conte, helping The Blues to win the 2016-17 English Premier League title as well as the FA Cup, but the player then found game time difficult to get under the Italian’s successor, Maurizio Sarri and opted to join Fenerbahce in an 18-month deal in January.
Since teaming up with the Turkish Super Lig side, the 28-year-old winger has scored three goals in 15 appearances with The Yellow Canaries, but he has now announced his impending departure from the Istanbul side.
Moses told Football Italia: “I am leaving Fenerbahce. I want a new adventure in my career. I had a very enjoyable experience, but I won’t be here next season.”
