Tottenham have identified Destiny Udogie as another Serie A target to strengthen their  left wing-back position just weeks after they captured Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan, reports Megasportsarena.com.

The 19-year-old Italian-Nigerian spent the 2021-22 season on loan at Udinese from Hellas Verona. It proved to be something of a breakout campaign.

In his first season with Verona, he only managed six appearances, all in Serie A. After joining Udinese, though, he totalled 37 appearances, including 35 in the league.

Along the way, Udogie scored five goals and provided three assists. In turn, many clubs are looking at him as someone they can invest in.

His future is now in Udinese’s hands after his successful loan spell. They are yet to receive any offer from Tottenham for the Italian, but the Premier League outfit do admire him.

Interestingly, Udogie has also been with Inter as a potential successor to Perisic himself.

A contract until 2026 with Udinese is already in place for Udogie. However, they could turn a quick profit if any of his suitors step up their interest.
