Super Eagles midfielder Shehu Abdulahi got a major boost hours before the World Cup playoff game against Ghana on Friday night as his wife was successfully delivered of a baby boy, Megasportsarena.com reports.
The Omonia Nicosia of Cyprus maestro who is with the Super Eagles team in Kumasi broke the news on social media.
“We are thrilled to announce our baby boy, mother and baby are in good health. We thank Allah! We were blessed with the arrival of our son this morning. We appreciate your prayers,” he tweeted.
The Super Eagles held their final training at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Thursday night.
