Galatasaray of Turkey striker, Henry Onyekuru may end up missing out on a possible move to Bayern Munich of Germany, as megasportsarena.com gathered that The Bavarians are said to have frowned at the transfer placed on the Super Eagles’ star by his parent club, Everton of England.
Although Onyekuru is on loan at Galatasaray till next summer, Everton still have bragging rights on his contract, and the Toffees have now move to cash in on interest expressed in him by Bayern with a fee of £35m.
The 21-year-old Onyekuru, who has had a productive season at Gala, is said to have agreed personal terms with Bayern, but Everton’s demand has slowed down the process of a possible quickfire deal.
Everton appear keen on making a huge profit from Onyekuru’s current top form, as a report by owngoalnigeria.com adds that two Spanish La Liga clubs, Sevilla and Valencia are also keen on having the attacker.
The report concludes that: “Although Onyekuru is keen on joining Bayern, the decision is not entirely his as Everton are reportedly studying an offer from an English Premier League club to have the Nigerian on loan for next season.
“A decision on his next destination will be reached before he joins the senior national team of Nigeria for preparations ahead of the start of the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.”
