Fernebahce of Turkey winger, Victor Moses has found another lease of life coming his way, with startling reports indicating that he has caught the attention of Inter Milan of Italy.
Moses has been churning great form and stunning goals since joining Fernebahce on loan from Chelsea in January and, after stating that he is no hurry to return to Stamford Bridge, the former Super Eagles star may now head out to Italy instead.
Moses could now be on his way to take after Nwankwo Kanu, Obafemi Akinwunmi Martins, Saheed Adeshokan, Abdullahi Issah Eliakwu and Victor Obinna Nsofor as the next Nigerian attacker to line out for The Nerazzurri, who are said to be keen on the Fernebahce wave-maker.
Sky Sports adds that Inter will move to Moses and Romelu Lukaku once they appoint former Chelsea coach, Antonio Conte as their new gaffer in the coming month.
Moses excelled under Conte in a rare role as right-wing-back, during the Italian tactician’s days at Stamford Bridge, such that a reunion between player and gaffer could be an ideal strategy for the Milan-based outfit.
Conte is expected to replace Luciano Spalletti at Inter next week, according to Sky in Italy, and Moses is believed to be on his wish list of purchases for the summer, alongside Lukaku.
Conte tried to sign Lukaku in the summer of 2017 when he was still at Stamford Bridge, but the striker opted to move to Manchester United from Everton instead.
On his part, Moses was a regular for Chelsea during Conte’s time at the club and established himself as the regular right wing-back in the side that won the English Premier League title in 2017.
However, Moses lost his place in The Blues’ mainframe after Conte’s exit and, following the appointment of Maurizio Sarri this season, the ex-Super Eagles star was loaned to Fenerbahce in January.
In Turkey, Moses has been a regular at the Turkish Super Lig, but Inter would have to negotiate his release from Fenerbahce if they want to take him to the San Siro, as his deal in Istanbul runs until 2020.
However, in a related report, Moses told Sporx: ” You will never know what will happen in the future.
“But, to say it clear, I signed a contract here for 18 months. I came here to play regularly, enjoy my time. I am enjoying it now and our coach has trust in me.”
