Crystal Palace of England summer signing, Michael Olise has received a date in September for his debut with the London-based English Premier League club, megasportsarena.com reports.
While the lad that was signed by The Eagles from English Championship side, Reading continues battling to recover from a nagging injury, his debut still lies well ahead of him.
This is sequel to a verdict from the medical crew at Selhurst Park that the Nigerian-born France youth international, who is also eligible to play for Algeria, is not yet 100% fit.
Consequently, the verdict out of Palace’s camp is that Olise, who has missed the start of the season with a back injury, will not make his debut with The Eagles until after the international break.
The development has also led to a contingency move by the club’s new coach, Patrick Vieira to sign another midfielder this summer in order to help ease the weight of activity off Olise.
British newspaper, Evening Standard added: “Olise is back in light training and is targeting a debut next month.
“Patrick Vieira has insisted on easing the 19-year-old back into action as he looks to acclimatize to Premier League football.”
