Kingsley Eduwo Revives Nigerian Tradition At Esperance Of Tunisia

0

Former Lobi Stars of Makurdi and Sunshine Stars of Akure sensation, Kingsley Eduwo has reignited the Nigerian tradition at Esperance of Tunisia, following his arrival on Friday, megasportsarena.com reports.

The deal taking Eduwo to The Red & Gold means he follows the footsteps of Julius Efosa Aghahowa, Robert Ekhosuehi, Joseph Enakharire, Michael Eneramo and a couple of other Nigerian players in lining out for the Tunis-based side.

It also means he will star for yet another top club in the North African country that recently dumped Nigeria out of the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, as he had previously played for CS Sfaxien.

Eduwo, who is a former invitee to Nigeria’s home-based Eagles, has already started training with his new teammates, as he aims to hit the ground running in order to leave a historic impact at Esperance.

A report by allnigeriasoccer.com added: “Esperance have completed the signing of former CHAN Eagles striker, Kingsley Eduwo, the four-time African champions officially announced on Friday.

“Eduwo has signed a two-and-a-half-year deal that will keep him at Esperance until at least the end of the 2023-2024 season, if both parties honour the agreement.

“The 25-year-old counts CS Sfaxien, Al-Najaf and Al Urooba as the foreign clubs he previously represented and has also worn the colours of Gateway United, Sunshine Stars and Lobi Stars in his homeland.”
