Leicester City of England attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho is relishing his return to top headlines, following his stunning haul of two goals and an assist in continental action for The Foxes.
Megasportsarena.com reports that Iheanacho is back hogging bright headlines, after he again got on song for Leicester in the UEFA Europa League, just a week after he set tongues wagging in the same competition.
In the previous round of matches, Iheanacho stole the show when he provided two assists and hit a goal that has now been nominated among the very best for The Foxes during the current month, as they step up their hunt for glory on the domestic and continental fronts.
Iheanacho made hay in what was his 16thg continental match since moving the England after helping Nigeria win the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup in United Arab Emirates are emerged as the cadet competition’s most valuable player.
It was an evening of triple dazzle for him, as Iheanacho was back in top form during this season’s Europa League opener against Zorya Lugansk of Ukraine, as he scored one and assisted two others in a 3-0 win for Leicester.
In doing so, the former Columbus Crew of USA and Manchester City of England youngster became the first Nigerian-born player to provide two assists in a single UEL fixture after he shot low from 15 meters, following a defensive error from Ivanisenia.

Few hours after the list of nominees emerged, Iheanacho was again on fire this past Thursday, as he struck twice in The Foxes’ 4-0 hammering of Sporting Braga of Portugal, though his initial effort was saved by Matheus but the ball bounced back into his path for him to net at second attempt.
There was also a touch of good fortune in his second goal three minutes into the second half as his shot deflected past the unfortunate Braga goalkeeper, and Iheanacho received a round of applause from the Leicester bench when he made way for Ayoze Perez in the 72nd minute.
Earlier on, he had three goals and three assists in all nine beauties struck by The Foxes this season in the Europa League, more than any other player in the squad, as his deflected effort doubled the advantage three minutes into the second half, before he teed up Dennis Praet with a weighted ball for 3-0.
Iheanacho, who was officially named Man of the Match after helping Leicester City secure their biggest all-time win in a European competition, told UEFA’s official website: “It was a good win for us. We did well, scored some good goals and deserved to win in the end.
“The first goal came from a rebound and I was maybe a little bit lucky with the second too. Thankfully they all count! I’m happy to score again. We’re in a great position in the group. We still have a long way to go, but it’s about keeping going, taking it game by game and let’s see.
“This game is gone now. We enjoy it but we focus on the Premier League now. I hope we can keep our winning run going. I just need to keep working in training and doing my job. We have a great squad and everyone is doing his best.
