Faustino Anjorin Starts Another Loan Spell With Injury At Huddersfield Town

Chelsea of England youngster, Faustino Anjorin is starting another loan spell on a shaky note, as he is nursing an injury at the start of his spell with English Championship side, Huddersfield Town.

Megasportsarena.com gathered that the deal comes few days after Anjorin was forced out of his running deal at Lokomotiv Moscow of Russia but, against all expectations, he cannot start playying immediately with Huddersfield.

This much has been confirmed by the lower division club’s coach, Carlos Corberán, who admitted that he will not have the Nigerian-born youngster available until middle of this month at the earliest.

Anjorin, who has recorded five first team appearances for Chelsea since making his debut in a Carabao Cup fixture against Grimsby Town in September 2019,  joins The Terriers on loan for the remainder of the current season.

This comes after he spent the first half of the season on loan at Lokomotiv, but the Russian Premier League outfit passed up on the opportunity to sign him on a permanent basis due to the foreign footballers limit.

The 20-year-old Anjorin has also been inactive since October 30, after he was diagnosed with a fracture of the metatarsal bone, which caused him to make an early return to his parent club in London to receive treatment and rehabilitation.

He eventually left Moscow after making nine appearances, scoring his first senior goal in a UEFA Europa League clash with Olympique Marseille of France, and The Terries’ gaffer is happy to have him on board.

Corberán told the club’s official website: “I believe Tino is one of the most important young talents in Britain. He is now in the last part of his recovery from injury.

“We expect he can be integrated into our squad during February. As soon as he is fully recovered, he will increase the possibilities of our squad.

“He can play in different attacking positions – as a 10, 11 or 7 – and he has the skills to make a real impact in our attacking play.”
