Ebosele Leaves Derby, Completes Udinese Move

Festy Oseiwe Ebosele has left Derby County at the end of his contract to join Italian side Udinese, reports Megasportsarena.com.

The Rams confirmed that the winger will now complete his transfer to Italian Serie A side Udinese but the Rams are entitled to compensation for the winger.

Due to the fact he has come up through the youth system at Pride Park, the Rams are entitled to compensation for their player, which is positive for the club as he leaves at the end of his current contract.

The club have thanked the youngster for his efforts with the side in what was a difficult season last year, especially so for a young player breaking into the first team.

Whilst the compensation won’t be a particularly high fee, it will be a boost for the Rams as they now look ahead to next season in League One.

Ebsoele signed a pre-contract agreement with the Serie A side back in March having signed a five-year deal with the club. And now the move will be officially completed after his Rams contract expired.

The 19-year-old, who came through the club’s academy, was recently called up to the Republic of Ireland senior squad. He scored two goals in 41 first-team appearances for the Rams last term during which he produced a series of excellent performances.
