Henry Onyekuru made an immediate impact at his new Turkish club with a goal on his debut as Adana Demirspor beat Giresunspor 3-2 away from home in their Turkish Super Lig opener, reports Megasportsarena.com.
Onyekuru scored his side’s second goal in the 82nd minute before Rahmetullah Berisbek added the third in stoppage time.
The Nigerian forward tweeted after the match.
“1st Game , 1st Goal, 1st win! All thanks to God! Onwards and Upwards for the season!💙🤟🏽”.
He joined the Blue Lightnings from Olympiacos on a season-long loan that ends after the 2022-23 campaign, with an option to buy.
