Belgian Pro League club KV Oostende have confirmed the signing of winger Dapo Mebude, reports Megasportsarena.com.

Mebude joins the De Kustboys from Watford on a permanent deal, with both parties agreeing to a sell-on clause.

The 21-year-old linked up with the Hornets last summer after departing Scottish giants Rangers, and he made 32 appearances in all competitions on-loan at then League One AFC Wimbledon in 2021/22, scoring twice.

Having featured for Watford in pre-season under Head Coach Rob Edwards, Mebude will now pursue the next stage of his promising career in the Jupiler Pro League, with his new side currently sitting 13th in the table.

London-born Mebude is eligible to play for Scotland, Nigeria and England.
