Aris Thessaloniki of Greece striker, Aide Brown Ideye has placed all transfer talk on hold until after the ongoing season, as the former Super Eagles’ hitman revealed that he will not make any decision about his future without consulting his wife, megasportsarena.com gathered.
Ideye, who is in the final month of his contract with Aris, which he joined as a free agent at the beginning of this season, is now waiting for campaign to come to a close later this month, then return to his family and sit down to arrive at a joint-decision on his next port of call.
Although Ideye admitted he has been under pressure from some top clubs in Turkey, Asia and the Middle East for options this summer, following his sterling performances with Aris, the former Ocean Boys of Brass, Neuchâtel Xamax of Switzerland, Sochaux of France, Dinamo Kiev of Ukraine, West Bromwich Albion of England, Tianjin Teda of China and Olympiakos of Greece 31-year-old star says he is not in a hurry to commit himself to any other club just yet.
Ideye to Novasports via Gazzetta: “I have a contract with Aris and at the moment I’m not thinking about anything. I will do it after the end of the season. I will return home, discuss with my family and decide.
“I miss my family. I will not make any decisions without discussing it with my wife; and I want to spend time with her first. I will go home and decide what my next step will be.”
