Premier League new-boys Brentford are in talks to sign Arsenal youngster Daniel Oyegoke for their B-team.
The 18-year-old’s current deal at the Gunners is about to expire and he is yet to agree a new one.
Formerly of Barnet, right back Oyegoke will now be looking to follow in the footsteps of fellow Nigerian, Fred Onyeka and midfielder Josh Dasilva.
Da Silva joined Brentford in similar circumstances in 2018, rejecting a new deal with Arsenal and joining the Bees, becoming a first-team player.
Defenders Fin Stevens and Dominic Thompson were also in the Arsenal ranks before heading to Brentford, and Oyegoke now looks set to join them.
Brentford have made strengthening at right-back, right centre-back, midfield and on the wings their priority this summer as they prepare for their first season in the top-flight.
