Birmingham City are keen on reigniting their interest in several former transfer targets when the window opens in the summer and one of such is Nigerian Josh Maja, Megasportsarena.com understands.
Maja swapped clubs in January but opted for a loan move to Stoke City from parent club Girondis Bordeaux.
The forward has scored twice in 17 games for the Potters and after some difficult times was clapped off in Saturday’s win over QPR.
The 23-year-old also has another year left on his contract, a deal he signed with the Ligue 1 outfit after he joined them from Sunderland in January 2019.
Stoke have an option on a permanent deal and are expected to negotiate to try to keep him.
The former Sunderland and Fulham youth teamer has not featured for the Super Eagles since he made his debut off the bench in a friendly against Ukraine in September 2019.
