Aston Villa Set To Splash £50m For Wilfred Ndidi

Wilfred Ndidi has been linked with a move to Aston Villa ahead of the summer transfer window.

Steven Gerrard has been given £50 million to spend on a new midfielder and the man they are looking at is the Super Eagles midfielder.

Ndidi has just over two years remaining on his contract at the King Power Stadium.

No asking price is suggested. However, Gerrard apparently has £50 million to spend on a new midfielder. And Bissouma has an asking price of £45 million. So perhaps Villa believe that Ndidi could command a similar figure.

Ndidi has been an outstanding servant for the Foxes since moving to the club back in 2017. Brendan Rodgers claimed that he is irreplaceable.

Only three players have won more tackles in the Premier League so far this season, He has been excellent in holding midfield. But he has also filled in at centre-back.

And while his form has not always been the best this term, he is clearly a player who has an extremely high ceiling.

Aston Villa are building a superb team under Gerrard. And adding Ndidi to the Villa ranks in the summer would certainly have the potential to be an inspired piece of business.
