FC Twente Eschende of Netherlands defender, Tyronne Ebuehi could be heading for an altercation with his parent club, Benfica of Portugal over the latest summer transfer offer coming his way from Venezia of Italy.
Megasportsarena.com gathered that this is sequel to confirmation that the newly promoted Italian Serie A club want to buy him outright, but Benfica are only interested in another loan spell for him.
Benfica stand has already marked the end of Ebuehi’s days at Twente, as the Dutch club wanted to buy him outright this summer, following his revivalist exploits in their squad last term, but Benfica insisted on holding talks only over terms of another loan stint.
The dice is now cast for yet another face-off between Benfica and Venezia, who are keen on buying Ebuehi in a full transfer rather than than settle for a loan deal.
However, respected Italian transfer market expert, Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Ebuehi may end up joining Gli Arancioneroverdi on loan with a purchase clause inserted into the deal.
That possibility, though, depends on Ebuehi’s agent accepting terms of the deal and the injury-prone full-back eventually passing medical checks at Venezia.
Ebuehi’s intermediary is reportedly working on a deal with the Italian top-flight newcomers, even amidst hints that the versatile defender is also wanted by some other top clubs in the summer transfer window.
However, despite the myriad of interest flowing for the former ADO Den Haag of Netherlands lad, the possibility of him leaving Benfica permanently this summer has been ruled out.
Ironically, his representatives are now discussing only loan deals with clubs interested in Ebuehi, who also played for the youth teams of DSOV, SV Hoofddorp, VV Young Boys and HFC EDO.
