Turkish Super Lig champions-elect Trabzonspor will wait till the end of the season before they resume contract negotiations with Anthony Nwakaeme, Megasportsarena.com understands.
Nwakaeme has been consistent for the Black Sea Storm since his move from Israeli club Hapoel Beer Sheva seven seasons ago.
This season, the 33-year-old Nigerian has been fantastic, recording eleven goals and ten assists in 27 appearances, helping Trabzonspor to their first Super Lig triumph in 38-years.
However, Nwakaeme could be out of the club this summer, as his contract will expire at the end of June.
The Black Sea Storm has tried to tie him down to another deal, but Nwakaeme has refused to extend his contract, with reports stating that Trabzonspor is unwilling to meet his financial demands.
