Former Arsenal of England youth team defender, Tobi Omole is heading towards a regular spotlight at The Gunners’ fellow-London-based rivals, Tottenham Hotspur.
Megasportsarena.com reports that this is sequel to confirmation of the dark-skinned youngster’s presence in a new roll call of first team players announced by Spurs’ coach, Antonio Conte.
Details of the development at Tottenham Stadium in London revealed that Omole has been named among an elite class of Spurs’ players for the remainder of the season.
He is among a roster of 20 players named by the Italian football tactician in his squad list, with Omole identified as a ‘home-grown player,’ who was born on December 17, 1999.
That means he is already 22 years old and not age-eligible to be included as an under-21 player or scholar, hence his ascent into Tottenham’s EPL squad for the second half of this season.
A report by allnigeriasoccer.com adds: “The Hale End Academy product has been offered a new deal by Tottenham ahead of next season.
“Though he has yet to make his Premier League bow, Omole was a non-playing substitute in the London derby versus Crystal Palace back in September and has trained with the first team on countless occasions.”
