Emmanuel Dennis Suspended From Watford’s Clash With Burnley

Watford of England striker, Emmanuel Bonaventure Dennis will miss action with his side in their next match this weekend because he is suspended for the game due to the red card he got the previous time out.

Megasportsarena.com reports that, this time, The Hornets are set to tango Burnley on Saturday, but the former Zorya of Ukraine, Club Brugge of Belgium and FC Cologne of Germany star will not be in the squad.

Heading into Saturday’s game at Turf Moor, reports out of Queensland indicate that Dennis will serve a match ban because of the expulsion he got against Norwich City.

On the other hand, Burnley’s new signing Wout Weghorst is in line to make his debut against Watford.

Weghorst, a 6ft 6in forward who has scored six goals in 18 Bundesliga appearances this season, signed a three-and-a-half-year deal after joining from Wolfsburg for £12m.

Maxwel Cornet is available after returning from Africa Cup of Nations duty but may not be risked from the start, while Charlie Taylor and Matej Vydra are “touch and go” according to Sean Dyche to make the squad.

While Dennis will not be present on the pitch, Watford have three players back from duty at the Africa Cup of Nations, with William Troost-Ekong leading the pack back to Vicarage Road.

Troost-Ekong reported back to the London Colney training ground last week after Nigeria’s elimination, while Morocco pair Adam Masina and Imran Louza are also in contention to make the squad.
