Starry-eyed youngster, Tayo Adaramola has become the latest Nigerian-born prospect to emerge at Crystal Palace of England, following his inclusion in the matchday squad against Manchester City, megasportsarena.com reports.

Adaramola was found busy among The Eagles during their build-up programme to Monday’s game at Selhurst Park, with the Nigerian-born Ireland youth international targeting game time for the first time in the EPL.

That came after the London-based club’s coach, Patrick Vieira promoted the enterprising left-back to first team training ahead of the clash on Monday night.

The former Arsenal captain monitored the Republic of Ireland youth team ace at close quarters over three days, during which time he had the pleasure of rubbing shoulders with Nigerian-born winger, Michael Olise and attacking midfielder, Eberechi Eze.

It marked a major step up for the 18-year-old Adaramola, who has gained two appearances in this season’s FA Cup and remains a key player for Palace’s youth sector, while knocking fervently on the door of the main team, whose matchday squad he has achieved on three occasions.
