Chelsea of England striker, Tammy Abraham appears to be heading closer to a deal with fellow-London-based English Premier League club, West Ham United, megasportsarena.com reports.
This is sequel to updated summer transfer information out of Queensland, which indicates that The Hammers are now in pole position to snatch the out-of-favour striker from Chelsea’s grip.
Although Abraham had initially been tipped with a return to Aston Villa, where he excelled as top scorer in the English Championship two seasons ago, latest news on offer from England has it that he could be heading to Upton Park instead.
British tabloid, The Sun disclosed: “West Ham United are ahead of Aston Villa in the race for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.
“The Blues had originally demanded £40m for their academy product, who has fallen down the pecking order under Thomas Tuchel.
“This amount was deemed too high for David Moyes’ side, but The Hammers could sign Abraham for £30 to £35m. Villa remain fans of Abraham after his prolific loan spell back in 2018/19.
“West Ham are more desperate to sign the 23-year-old however and are expected to launch an offer this summer.”
