David Okereke is excited with his fantastic showing last weekend, scoring Venezia’s only goal in their 1-0 away win at Bologna in a Serie A match.
“We knew we would suffer in the match and we actually did. But we fought together and in the end we prevailed. We are improving and growing game by game.”
It was his second goal in as many matches, following his match-winning performance against Inter Milan the penultimate weekend.
The 24-year-old striker has now scored four goals in 12 Serie A appearances for his club this season.
